Trojan Youth Soccer (TYS) is a member of the Indiana Soccer Association (ISA) and follows all ISA policies and guidelines. Beginning August 1, 2026, player age groups will be determined using the school‑year method. This change applies to all divisions within our organization.

For recreational play, TYS combines two age groups within each division. Players must participate in the division that corresponds to their school‑year age group. 

Players are not permitted to “play down” or “play up” a division.

Trojan Youth Soccer uses a blind‑draw system each year to create balanced teams. Players are re‑drafted annually based on age and player ratings to ensure fairness across all divisions.

Coaches and assistant coaches may be assigned to only one team. Their children will automatically be placed on that team.

During registration, parents may request that their child not be placed with a specific coach. However, requests for specific teammates, ride‑sharing arrangements, or carpool placement cannot be honored.

Siblings who fall within the same division will be placed on the same team unless parents request otherwise.
